An Innovative Solar-Biomass Energy System to Increase the Share of Renewables in Office Buildings

Increasing the energy efficiency of residential and non-residential buildings is a crucial point towards development sustainable cities future. To reach such goal, commonly employed intervention measures (for instance, on facades glass) are not sufficient efforts in reaching fully renewable generation mandatory. In this context, paper discusses applicability system with solar biomass as main sources different climates for heating, cooling, domestic hot water electricity office buildings. The includes thermal collectors thermoelectric generators, boiler, reversible heat pump/organic Rankine cycle an adsorption chiller. results showed that can operate share renewables higher than 70% all needs, up to 80% overall demand supplied only by even northern locations.
